People in mental crises need immediate, unbureaucratic and professional help. The Social Psychiatric Emergency Service (SND) is therefore available around the clock as an emergency and crisis service under the telephone number 01 31330. Available by telephone daily from 0:00 to 24:00, 365 days a year.

Poisoning: Emergency Call & Advice In case of suspected poisoning, the Poisoning Information Centre (VIZ) provides advice around the clock. Emergency number: 01 406 43 43
On the basis of the facts communicated by telephone, the doctor at the Poisoning Information Centre (VIZ) assesses whether there is a health risk and medical help is needed. The consultations concern medicines, chemical substances or household products, plants, fungi, animals (e.g. snakebites), addictive and stimulant substances as well as unknown substances.
