Babel — mesh routing protocol
Presentation at ML on the 25th of July 2008 by the man himself! --Aaron K 16:21, 16. Jul. 2008 (CEST)
Babel is a distance-vector routing protocol for IPv6 and IPv4 with fast convergence properties. It was primarily designed for wireless ad-hoc networks. Because of that, Babel is extremely robust in the presence of mobility: only under very exceptional situations circumstances will Babel cause a transient routing loop. More specifically - under normal operations Babel guarantees loop freeness.
