Umbau
Due to economic constraints, we're aiming to perform the renovation in multiple phases. After a long time of inactivity, Phase 1 was officially kicked off 25. January 2007.
It was agreed at the 2007-01-25_Jour_Fixe on a EUR 1000-1200 budget for phase one of the renovation.
Overview
- Phase 1: Do what is necessary to provide a room where a working lab can be set up
- Phase 2->: More specialized furniture, machine workshop, decoration & theming
Phase 1
- Repair and paint walls and ceiling
- Lay floor
- Wire electricity and mount ceiling lamps
Phase 1 Solution & Budget
Walls & Ceiling
The plan is very basic: Fill holes and cracks, scrape off areas of weak paint, paint all walls and the ceiling white.
Costs:
We already have most of the equiment and material necessary, so only minor supplements are needed (Putz, Tiefengund, Spachtelmasse, misc. tools)
Floor
- Alternative: Anstrich -> DIY
- * Leihgebühr Bodenschleifmaschine Servo: EUR 22,-/Tag (exkl. MWSt)
- * Schleifpapier EUR 18,-/Stk. (exkl. MWSt), doppelseitig nutzbar (1 Stück sei ausreichend)
- * 1. Anstrich: astrochem Grundierung/Imprägnierung fuer 10 kg ~40m² ... EUR 139,- (exkl. MWSt) [Erstanstrich braucht mehr Material]
- * 2. + 3. Anstrich: astrochem Versiegelung UV (Farbe) 10kg fuer 2x 40m² ... EUR 179,- (exkl. MWSt)
Gibt Bescheid was das kostet. Noch nicht bestellt. (Unser -mit Abstand- zweitgereihter Farbton RAL 6021/Blassgruen wär' uebrigens lagernd.) --PK 15:58, 29.
- 4 verschiedene Farben lagernd (Philip: "wenig sexy"), Lieferzeit anderer Farben (zB. Weiss) max. 14 Tage. eventuell bissl Flitte^W Feenstaub einstreuen
Misc costs: Parkett Fugendicht, Montageschaum, ca. 50 euro
Electricity
The WEL will be subdivided into 2 independent circuits wired from the fuse cabinet in the corner, one will serve power for the heavy machinery lab, and one for the remaining power and lights.
All wiring will be done "aufputz", since the quality of the wiring inside the walls are questionable.
Lighting should be neutral and bright and without too much flickering (e.g. neon with EVG).
