Krita is the new Photoshop! (Workshop)
Krita is THE up-and-coming free/libre digital painting/image editing suite that everybody in the field should seriously take a long and good look at.
It has all the tools you're probably ever going to need, it's fast and stable, supports your tablet, it's got a great, friendly community, and is developed by a community-funded team of developers and artists, backed by a non-profit foundation in the Netherlands.
So what are we waiting for! Let's get retouching, painting, cropping, selecting, resizing, brushing, erasing, ... Bring yourself, your laptop and possibly your friends. This is for complete beginners and upwards, everybody's welcome.
If there is interest we can also do some "I know XY from Photoshop, how can I do that in Krita?" Q&A at the workshop, just ask for it!
