After the chaos gets out of hand, a solution would be a good idea to fight against that chaos; so I got a solution.

These items/Boxes which have no place and noboddy knows where they belong to should get a

a timestamp on the finding day on it and after a certain time (eg. 30 days) if noboody has taken the item or Box, it will be put into the trash.

Furthermore it would be a good idea to install a "Lost & Found" area, where all these things with timestamps can be collected, so that the owners

can find their items easyer.

Version vom 17. September 2015, 14:30 Uhr

In diesem Sinne: Kein Metalab ohne helfende Hände!

HDMI Adapter Stuff (reox)
no real good solution found. Idea: use a HDMI switchbox with 5 inputs, rivet a metal sheet on with holes for small padlocks to keep the adapter cables in place. pro: fancy pancy diy solution. con: costs also about 50 to 150€ (there are cheaper and expensiver cables and boxes...) and the hdmi switch may not work all the time and is a extra source of error. Also then there are a lot of cables hanging around at the presenter table.
Proposal: buying cheap adapters is probably the best solution.
Argon Gas / Flowmeter+gas regulator (reox)
According to Schweissen#Gas the Argon Gas bottle contract will run out at the mid of december. On the CNC List was some discussion regarding a new bottle from ZGONC. These are cheaper and better to get (just go there, get a new one). Other alternatives are Hornbach, Messer, Linde and AirLiquide.
Also a new flow meter/regulator is needed, because the old one is close to completely broken. Proposal was to buy a new dual regulator like this one
The old bottle is empty, where is the money collected from the welding cash box? Is there any?
