Metalab discussion rules

For our next meeting, we want to try using a fixed set of rules that will be enforced by a team of moderators. Please read the rules carefully and make sure you understand them!

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask before the discussion has started.

During the discussion, we expect everyone to follow the rules. If this is not the case, the moderators will react accordingly. This includes the option to expell participants from the discussion.

• Do not remain silent. Make sure to contribute to the discussion.
• Think before you speak.
• Listen carefully to what others have to say.
• Do not interrupt when someone else is speaking.
• Let others speak if they haven't spoken yet.
• Use hand signs:
• If you want to talk, raise one hand until a moderator sees you.
• Express your approval by raising both of your arms and shaking your hands.

Für unser nächstes Treffen wollen wir ein neues Regelwerk ausprobieren, welches von einem Team an Moderator*innen angewandt wird. Bitte lies die Regeln aufmerksam und stell sicher, dass du sie verstehst!

Solltest du irgendwelche Fragen haben zögere bitte nicht sie vor der Diskussion zu stellen.

Während der Diskussion werden wir davon ausgehen, dass alle Teilnehmer*innen der Diskussion den Regeln folgen. Ist dem nicht so, werden die Moderator*innen entsprechend reagieren. Dies inkludiert die Möglichkeit einzelne Teilnehmer*innen von der Diskussion auszuschließen.

• Bleib nicht leise, sondern trag etwas zur Diskussion bei.
• Denk nach bevor du sprichst.
• Hör aufmerksam zu, was andere* zu sagen haben.
• Unterbreche andere nicht, wenn sie sprechen.
• Lass andere sprechen, die noch nicht gesprochen haben.
• Verwende Handzeichen:
• Wenn du etwas sagen willst, heb eine Hand, bis ein*e Moderator*in dich sieht.
• Drücke deine Zustimmung aus, indem du beide Arme hebst und mit den Händen wackelst.
