Introduction to Redcode and the game Corewar | |

The event will be divided into three parts:
Part 1, 16h00: Redcode for Beginners - Introduction to the basics of Redcode (Seasoned programmers do not need to attend this)
Part 2, starting around 17h00: Common Fighting Strategies - Quick summary of Redcode for experts - Presentation of existing strategies (Warrior types; e.g. Paper, Vampire, Scanner) - Discussion of some example Warriors in Detail
Part 3: Playing the Game - Coding some simple Warriors - Small Tournament
In May there will be an international Corewar tournament, we could create a Warrior together.
