DIY Instruments - CigarBox Guitars!
Why?
- it's simple to build them
- it's cheaper than buying a guitar
- it's easier to play them even with now previous knowledge
- it sounds and looks cool!
In the workshop we do not only talk about building such a cigar box guitar. We build one with three strings!
All the necessary steps will be considered:
- Where to get the material from?
- Which tools are needed?
- Which scale length and how the corresponding fret positions are calculated
... and: How to make it an ELECTRIC CBG?
The workshop shall be concluded by a short introduction into chords to start playin' da blues.
