From 2021-11-08 the COVID measures at Metalab are the following:
General Information
Drop by anytime! Our website (usually) shows whether the lab is in operation at the top.

General
General
* The entrance door should always remain physically closed but socially open!
* When entering the Metalab, evidence of immunisation (2G certificate) must be shown. What counts as such evidence is determined by the 3rd Regulation on COVID19 Measures (German only). In summary, the following evidence is recognised:
:* Recovery
::* A certificate of recovery from an infection with SARS-CoV-2 within the last 180 days
::* An official quarantine order not older than 180 days
:* Vaccination after recovery
::* Proof of vaccination which has occurred at least 21 days after recovery, which is not older than 270 days
::* Proof of a vaccination with a second dose which has occurred at lest 120 days after administration of the first dose, which is not older than 360 days
:* Vaccination
::* Proof of vaccination with a second dose, which is not older than 270 days
::* Proof of vaccination with a single dose of the Johnson&Johnson vaccine, which is not older than 270 days
::* Proof of vaccination with a third dose, which was administered at least 120 days after the second dose, which is not older than 360 days
::* Proof of vaccination with a second dose after a first dose of the Johnson&Johnson vaccine, when the second dose was administered at least 14 days after that first dose, which is not older than 360 days
:* The following count as proof of vaccination:
::* An EU Digital Covid Certificate ("Green Pass")
::* An international vaccination passport, in which vaccination with the Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca or Johnson&Johnson vaccines has been entered
:* People subject to compulsory school attendance in Austria (up to the 9th school year) can also show their complete "ninja pass" (also valid on the weekend of the respective week)
* Persons who cannot be vaccinated for health reasons are exempt from this requirement, provided they can produce a medical certificate.
* No visit of the Metalab if you feel sick!
* Keep a distance of 1,5m to people who do not live in the same household.
* No physical contact with people who do not live in the same household. This includes hugging, shaking hands or even cuddling.
* Stick to the usual corona protection measures (regular hand washing, do not reach into the face, sneeze or cough in the crook of your arm, etc.).
* Please vent the lab after you arrived and when you leave.

maximum number of people
* Metalab is open for everyone.
* For the whole Metalab there is a limit of 40 people in total.
* Don't visit Metalab if you feel ill/sick!
* The following numbers of people are allowed per room (except if you live in a household):
* Please vent the lab as often and as long as possible.
:* 20 people in the main room
* An air filter exists, which has limited impact on viral load in the air.
:* 7 people in the library
:* 5 people in the lounge
:* 8 people in the WEL
:* 2 people in the HM
:* 3 people in the kitchen
* You can still go through quickly, even if the limit for a room is reached.

Mask
Mask
* Recommendation: Wear a mask. "Mundnasenschutz" (MNS / operation mask) is enough, although FFP2 protective properties are better!

Events
* Wearing a mask is generally not required at Metalab.
* Events at Metalab are possible.
* Members often donate masks to the Metalab. These will then be located in the entrance area. We can unfortunately not guarantee availability.
* Always comply with the maximum number of people for each room.
* During events, always keep the minimum distance.
* Seating with a safe distance must be provided for all visitors.

Contact tracing
Tests
* Contact tracing procedures are mandatory for every visit which lasts longer than 15 minutes.
* Testing yourself is generally not required at Metalab. However, again, please do not come here if you show obvious signs of air-transmissible contagious illness!
* Enter your contact date (name, phone numer, optionally e-mail address) in the printed forms and put it into a envelope with the date and time of your visit. Place the sealed envelope in the safe in the main room. You can find both envelope and form on the whiteboard i nthe main room. This contact information is only for notification in case of COVID19 incidents, otherwise the sealed envelopes will be destroyed unopened after 28 days.
* Members often donate rapid tests to the Metalab. These will then be located in the entrance area. We can unfortunately not guarantee availability.

We keep an eye on the relevant regulations and continuously evaluate the situation; these regulations are adapted as necessary.
Events
Thank you for adhering to these measures!<br>
* It's possible to hold events at Metalab without special restrictions.
Only together can we continue to provide safe hacking at Metalab.
* If you organize an event e.g. in the library, and you want to e.g. enforce mask wearing there, you must provide appropriate masks to attendees.

* In the main room, enforcing event-specific measures is difficult/impossible, since it leads to/from lots of other areas of the Metalab.
If you have any questions or are unsure about these rules, please contact Datei:core.png.
