We are well aware of our responsibility towards our members who depend on Metalab for their professional activities. Therefore, Metalab will remain open from 03.11.2020 00:00 under the following conditions:
Drop by anytime! Our website (usually) shows whether the lab is in operation at the top.

General
General
* Metalab is only open for members from 6:00 to 20:00 for use as a co-working space or working on machines or infrastructure. The entrance door remains closed the whole time!
* A visit by non-members requires registration via beforehand.
* Unfortunately it is no longer possible to sit together for socializing.
* No visit of the Metalab if you notice or suspect symptoms of COVID-19!
* Keep a distance of 1m to people who do not live in the same household.
* No physical contact with people who do not live in the same household. This includes hugging, shaking hands or even cuddling.
* Stick to the usual corona protection measures (regular hand washing, do not reach into the face, sneeze or cough in the crook of your arm, etc.).
* Depending on the attendence, windows should be open for ventilation. Especially on windless days we suggest active ventilation with a ventilator in the window. With low temperatures outside, you should open the windows regularly for ventilation.

* Metalab is open for everyone.
maximum number of people
* Don't visit Metalab if you feel ill/sick!
* For the whole Metalab there is a limit of 10 people in total.
* Please vent the lab as often and as long as possible.
* The following numbers of people are allowed per room (except if you live in a household):
* An air filter exists, which has limited impact on viral load in the air.
:* Five people in the main room
:* Two people in the library
:* Two people in the lounge
:* Two people in the WEL
:* One person in the HM
:* One person in the kitchen
* You can still go through, even if the limit for a room is reached.

Mask
Mask
* A mouth and nose protection is required at Metalab. If necessary, suitable masks can be purchased at the vending machine.
* The only situation where you are allowed to take off your mask is when you eat/drink at the place you sit. When you are finished eating/drinking or want to get up, you have to put on your mask immediately.

Events
* Wearing a mask is generally not required at Metalab.
* Members often donate masks to the Metalab. These will then be located in the entrance area. We can unfortunately not guarantee availability.

* Until further notice events at Metalab are no longer possible.
Tests
* Use Metalabs Jitsi or the BigBlueButton server instead for your events.

Contact tracing
* Testing yourself is generally not required at Metalab. However, again, please do not come here if you show obvious signs of air-transmissible contagious illness!
* Members often donate rapid tests to the Metalab. These will then be located in the entrance area. We can unfortunately not guarantee availability.

* When visiting Metalab, note your time of visit and keep these notes for 14 days.
Events
* Visitors are asked to leave a note with contact details and the time of their visit in an envelope with the date in the safe. This contact information is only for notification in case of COVID19 incidents, otherwise the envelopes will be destroyed unopened after 14 days.

We keep an eye on the relevant regulations and continuously evaluate the situation; these regulations are adapted as necessary.

Thank you for adhering to these measures!<br>
Only together can we continue to provide safe hacking at Metalab.

If you have any questions or are unsure about these rules, please contact Datei:core.png.

Additional informationen
* It's possible to hold events at Metalab without special restrictions.
Mouth and nose protection
* If you organize an event e.g. in the library, and you want to e.g. enforce mask wearing there, you must provide appropriate masks to attendees.
The following protective devices are not considered adequate masks at Metalab:
* In the main room, enforcing event-specific measures is difficult/impossible, since it leads to/from lots of other areas of the Metalab.
