TL;DR
We are smart!
We love PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS - we build our own small or large clouds (or even use somebody elses computer)!
We fight with Open Source against the Closed Shop computing dinosaurs!
We are the Friendly OpenShift User Group.
POINTERS FOR THE CURIOUS
Use Minishift (OpenShift cluster inside a VM) or play around with OpenShift in your browser
OpenShift Online has a small free-tier plan (no credit-card required!). Docs specifically for Online (with a walkthrough for your first app).
More Kubernetes focused is The Children's Illustrated Guide to Kubernetes (YouTube Bedtime Story version) but that doesn't matter because OpenShift is built upon it.
