The time has advanced and meanwhile most videos are stored on HDDs in a homeserver instead of handling around with DVDs or BlueRays. For this reason the videos need to be ripped/converted on a hard disc. The time has advanced and meanwhile most videos are stored on HDDs in a homeserver instead of handling around with DVDs or BlueRays. For this reason the videos need to be ripped/converted on a hard disc. This is a open lecture where several people will share their experience with ffmpeg aka avconv, Mplayer, handbrake and other video editing tools with you. Furthermore you'll have an introduction into Video-Cutting with MEncoder.
