UPDATE FROM TORPOR: As of April 25th, I have 3 other people at my work (THALES) who wish to be included in this group purchase, but who are not yet members of MetaLab, so it is possible that we may need to order *20* phones. I will update this page with details when we know more. | UPDATE FROM TORPOR: As of April 25th, I have 3 other people at my work (THALES) who wish to be included in this group purchase, but who are not yet members of MetaLab, so it is possible that we may need to order *20* phones. WTF?OpenMoko is a free phone(not as in beer) running linux, open software, open hardware. Having three of the machines at the metalab right now, one of them with a dev-kit, we should be able to "do some stuff" Freerunner 10-packTorpor is going to order a 10-pack of the Freerunner next weeks(April/May 2008) which saves some bucks compared to the price of a single unit - if you want to participate, list your name here - in case there's no other info about you around, please also add your contact(6 slots open for the first 10-pack, maybe we can fill a second one too).
It will cost about EUR 260 - 300Euro. - the price is still to be confirmed. + Benko + Jaume + pucktf + Wizard23 + hjp + ra + wedge + kelvan UPDATE FROM TORPOR: As of April 25th, I have 3 other people at my work (THALES) who wish to be included in this group purchase, but who are not yet members of MetaLab, so it is possible that we may need to order *20* phones.
